Growing up in Johannesburg, South Africa exposed Luke to social justice issues which led him to develop an interest in criminal law. While studying at ANU, Luke had the opportunity to volunteer at NAAJA, an Aboriginal criminal defence organisation in the Northern Territory. The experiences he had there closely overlapped with experiences he had in South Africa. Luke completed his Practical Legal Training at a boutique firm specialising in criminal and family law in Sydney and began practice in criminal and civil law in Wagga Wagga. Luke now joins KPW’s criminal defence team in Wodonga, Victoria with the capacity to work in Sydney, Wagga, Albury, Wodonga and Melbourne.
Luke seeks to understand his clients and their stories so that he can achieve the best results possible for them. He is someone who takes the time and care to help guide clients through the Court system. He is a fearless advocate and endeavours to provide his clients with effective and efficient representation, all the while keeping them informed and reassured throughout the entire process.
